The Bearista Cup Story
The Bearista Cold Cup, a glass cup shaped like a bear wearing a green beanie, launched with the 2025 holiday collection on November 6, 2025 for about $30. It sold out quickly nationwide and became a viral collectible, with resale listings at several times the original price. In 2026 the Bearista became a full merchandise line, and Starbucks has confirmed the original Bearista Glass Cold Cup will return during the 2026 holiday season. The new Bearista Cake Pop on the holiday menu is also inspired by it.
Red Cup Day
Red Cup Day is a yearly Starbucks holiday promotion. On that day, customers get a free reusable holiday cup when they buy a handcrafted holiday drink, at participating stores while supplies last. In 2024 and 2025 it fell one week after the holiday menu launch. Starbucks has confirmed Red Cup Day returns in 2026 but has not announced the date yet.
